As a whole, the purpose of the booth is to provide information to the public about City programs. The largest amount of information will be revolving around housing information. This includes the three HUD funded programs: Neighborhood Stabilization Program which the city is working with non-profit developers to acquire foreclosed properties and resell them to eligible homebuyers; Graffiti Clean-Up Program which the city provides graffiti clean-up kits to low-income residents to removed graffiti from their residential property; and the Critical Needs Repair Loan Program that provides a no to low interest loans to low income homeowners to make emergency repairs to their home, some of these include roof repairs, furnace or water heater repair/replacement. I’ve attached the brochures about the three major programs that we will be promoting at the event. These brochures should answer most, if not all, of the questions. Additionally, we will also have information from the Nampa Family Justice Center about domestic violence and the services that are available at the Center and about Nampa’s Downtown Historic District, specifically the walking tour brochure.
