RULES & REGULATIONS OF THE GREAT GARAGE GIVEAWAY (GREAT GARAGE GIVEAWAY)
1. The GREAT GARAGE GIVEAWAY prize has an implied value of $13,495.00 from HonorBuilt Construction, LLC. The winner understands that the GREAT GARAGE GIVEAWAY prize has no real cash value whatsoever.
2. The winner understands that the prize value is for the construction of a 20x20x8 standard garage by Honorbuilt Construction, which includes the following: a) Plans Design; b) Monolithic Footing & 4" Concrete Floor; c) Engineered Vertical Wood Siding & Trim; d) 30-Year Architectural Shingles; e) Roof Vents; f) 16'x7' Insulated Garage Door; g) 3'x6'8" Six-Panel Steel Man Door; h) 5'x3' Double-Paned Window; i) Eaves Boxed With Soffit Trim; j) Painted Edge Metal; k) Soffit Vents; l) Trim On All Doors, Windows, Seams & Corners, and; m) All Labor Costs Required To Complete The Garage.
3. If the winner does not want this prize, due to property size, zoning restrictions or simply personal preference, HonorBuilt Construction will accommodate the winner by offering an optional credit of $10,000 towards the construction of any one custom-designed shed, garage or shop by HonorBuilt Construction. If the winner chooses this option, HonorBuilt Construction will use its standard pricing formulas to provide a fair and truthful estimate to complete the desired garage/shop/shed and the credit will be applied. The winner will be required to sign a contract with HonorBuilt Construction for all costs beyond the $10,000 credit. Furthermore, HonorBuilt Construction is not obligated to lower its prices to match other estimates the winner may acquire from competitors, other contractors, friends, or associates. If the estimate is less than $10,000, no cash will be awarded the winner to make up the difference.
4. Both options include the cost of labor and time provided by HonorBuilt Construction to apply for and obtain building permits from the winner's relevant municipal and/or county building departments. Permit fees directly required by relevant building departments are the responsibility of the winner. In addition, any required engineering costs are the responsibility of the winner.
5. The winner must build within a 120 mile radius of Boise, Idaho and within the state of Idaho. Additional costs may apply if construction takes place outside Ada and Canyon counties, including, but not limited to: Adams, Blaine, Boise, Camas, Custer, Elmore, Gem, Lincoln, Jerome, Owyhee, Payette, Twin Falls, Valley & Washington Counties.
6. Both options include prep-work excavation, labor and dirt/debris removal immediately and reasonably related to our construction. Building site must be within 12" of level or additional grading and material fees will apply. Any prep or post work required that is outside the parameters of our normal services – such as the removal of existing buildings, trees, or debris that is not the result of our construction, is not included and shall result in additional costs and become the responsibility of the winner.
7. HonorBuilt Construction will locate all relevant utilities prior to excavation (through DigLine), and take reasonable precaution to avoid all utility markings. However, the cost to repair or reconnect any utility lines hit during the course of construction is the responsibility of the winner. Furthermore, HonorBuilt Construction is not responsible for any damage done to sprinkler heads, pipes, curbing, existing concrete or underground systems during the course of excavation or construction and it is the responsibility of the winner to repair or pay for the repair of any such damage.
8. The winner understands that concrete will crack, although HonorBuilt Construction does everything possible to cut control lines in a way to prevent additional cracks. HonorBuilt Construction is not responsible for repairing cracked concrete.
9. Materials, supplies and labor related to construction shall be selected and provided by HonorBuilt Construction. Friends or contractors otherwise known or associated with the winner will not be used in the construction of the garage.
10. HonorBuilt Construction will not take over an existing construction project that is already in progress by another contractor on behalf of the winner.
11. Past and current customers of HonorBuilt Construction are eligible to win. However, the credit option will NOT be used to reimburse customers for past construction that is already completed and paid for in full, or current construction that is already in progress. Credit option is for new construction projects only.
12. Once constructed, the garage is the responsibility of the winner. No warranty is implied or given by HonorBuilt Construction related to the building materials used in the construction of the garage, other than what is normally provided by each material manufacturer according to standard industry practices.
13. HonorBuilt Construction will contact the winner within 7 days of the drawing to set an initial appointment for within 30 days from the date of drawing. HonorBuilt Construction reserves the right to schedule construction in a way that does not interrupt its existing projects or schedules, and at its discretion based on weather and other factors. All schedules may be revised due to weather conditions.
14. The winner agrees to have his or her photo taken as a winner of this promotion, and agrees that this image is the property of HonorBuilt Construction and Spectra Productions. The winner further agrees to the use of that image in any future promotional endeavors by HonorBuilt Construction and Spectra Productions.
15. The original winner of the GREAT GARAGE GIVEAWAY Prize may transfer ownership of the prize one time at his/her discretion, provided the new owner meets and agrees to the same criteria, and both parties sign this contract. The second owner may not transfer ownership of the prize.
16. Both prize options shall expire exactly six months from the date of drawing if the winner cannot proceed with construction.
